go out on a limb, where all the fruit are...

Tree sessions is our newest workshop series that invites aspiring and seasoned writers alike to seek inspiration under a tree for an afternoon. Lovingly facilitated by Whitney French, Tree Sessions is a four-hour workshop intensive specifically created for those who are working on a writing project and need motivation to get back in the habit.

By embracing the changing seasons, Tree Sessions allows writers to shift their observation to the flux in the natural world and connect these teachings to understanding their own writing rhythms.

The workshop will:

  • explore writing in nature,
  • offer extensive feedback on your individual writing,
  • invite playful opportunities to collaborate with others
  • share techniques to focus in on your craft
  • envision ways to tighten your writing routine.
